#1 visual for articulationI purchased this with the intention to correct a t/k kiddo (I’ve tried every strategy in the book) who has difficulty with lingual placement. So far, it’s helped the kiddo understand that our tongue is the ROCKSTAR of the mouth and needs to move around to get those sounds just perfect. Such a great visual for artic kiddos!

Mighty Mouth MiniThis is a great tool to help kiddos understand visually how to move their tongue. I'ts also helpful when discussing Beckman oral motor exercises!
-
Excelent toolIt arrived very quickly! I am working with it with Deaf children and teens and it helped a lot to show the production of the sounds. And the children find it to be very funny...

Mini MouthThis 'mouth" gives kids a tactical, hands-on, visual of proper tongue placement for several alveolar sounds. I have found it very helpful in my job!
-
Great Visual for the tongueI have really appreciated the visual help this mini mouth puppet has been to my speech program and for my speech kids. Working on "back sounds" are hard to show, but this mini mouth takes all the mystery out of tongue placement. THANKS!!
-

Mini Mouth Finger PuppetGreat price for a small model of the mouth. My students love using it and trying to imitate sound placement with the puppet and with their mouth. The rubber material sticks together a bit, but I think with more use it will be easier to manipulate.

amazingI can't believe I have been working without this incredible hand puppet! The kids love it and it is extremely hands-on and helps them understand tounge placement. I use it as well as a "reinforcer "-the child can take out a token from the mouth after each desired task is completed... they love this activity!! My only issue is the quality-I only have it for a couple of days and some of the color is already coming off the teeth. This is a total must for any speech therapist and of course the price is great!!
-
okI love the mouth puppet, but I am a bit disappointed, all previous ones have had more detail such as the alveolar ridge. This one does not have these details.
-
Great!Great way to help kids visualize tongue placement for articulation
-
Worth the $$I have only used the mini mouth a few times so far in therapy, but I already know it will be worth the small cost! My artic students have been very responsive to visual cues with the puppet (especially for less visually obvious sounds), and they love manipulating the mouth and tongue on their own... adds a fun level of humor and motivation.

Helps Ct to understand tongue placementSome pts need a little extra visual and manipulative assistance to comprehend tongue placement. This is not a cure, but it is a help.
-
Mini Mouth Finger PuppetAlthough this 'mouth' is small, it is great! I use this with lots of my clients and they all love it! It is great to use as a 'model' for correct tongue placement and my students love taking turns holding/using it. Great for kids in grades K - 3!
-
UsefulThis is a useful for showing student placement for articulation. It definately catches their interest. I wish it had lips for showing lip shape also.
-
mini mouthI ordered this puppet a several years ago and wanted a second one. I was dissapointed though that the new "version" has taken away the details of the rugae on the roof of the mouth as well as the lingual frenum underneath the tongue:) Kids still love it though, but it would be helpful to have those missing items.
-
AwesomeMust have for helping students visualize and learn correct placements of sounds. The students enjoy showing me how not to and how to make correct sound placement!
-
Super tool! This is my second Mouthy Mouth; my first one finally wore out after several years of use. It really helps my students visualize where I want their tongue, especially with /r/. The kids love it as well. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that I wish the tongue was a little more flexible so that I could flatten it to demonstrate lateral margin stabilization. As it is, I have to push the teeth inward to demonstrate tongue/molar contact. Other than that it's great and a must-have for my toolbox.
-
fantastic toolThis mouthy mouth finger puppet is a fantastic tool for working with articulation and oro-facial difficulties. It's size let's you carry it everywhere and have it handy for any problem that arises. It's amazing as it gives kids a tangible idea of what is expected of them in terms of mouth movements.
-
A little weirdI purchased this rubber mouth to assist in an articulation therapy session to show where the tongue goes to produce the /r/ phoneme. When I received it, there were directions showing specific phonemes that kids often have trouble with and /r/ was not one of them, and it is difficult to position the tongue so it is more bunched and in the posterior of the mouth. Also, I am not a fan of the rubber used, it feels very strange to me. However, I am a CF just starting out this year, so I am hopeful I will find more uses for it in years to come!
-
I love Mouthy Mouth!I call it "Mr. Mouth" and my kids and I love it! It's a great way for children to see where their tongue goes to make certain sounds. They like to manipulate it and show me where their tongue is and where they want it to be. It is a must for my treatment room!
-
Mouthy Mouth Finger PuppetI love this puppet and so do the students. They are fascinated by the fact that it looks like a real mouth! I use it when I demonstrate placement for articulation and it holds their attention every time.
-
fun!initially hard to move my fingers to the target position, but the students really like it one they get over the initial "creepiness" of it. I noticed students were moving their articulators as I was trying to get the right placement. pretty neat stuff for oral awareness.
-
Mouthy Mouth PuppetI have used this puppet several times and put it in the mouth of a cloth puppet so the kids could see the proper placement. The kids loved it and I could see aninstant improvement!!
-
Love it!!!This is an excellent tool for therapy. I have been using it for years. I love the flexible material and the way it can be easily manipulated. It gives the client, whatever age, the ability to manipulate oral structures in a very tangible way for valuable feedback. It provides "tactile" input from hands-on manipulation which can be hard to achieve otherwise. Because it is inexpensive the client can even afford his own "mouthy mouth" if it would be helpful to have at home.
-
ArticulatorsGood for showing the articulators and structures. The tongue is very large, so it isn't great for showing anterior/posterior movements. Good for sparking conversations and awareness of oral structures.
-
Great ProductThis product is GREAT and the kids love it!
-
Mouthy ReviewMy kids love this finger puppet. It really helps them visualize where to place their articulators for the sounds they have difficulty producing. This tool is a huge motivator for them to work hard in speech therapy!
-
Mouthy MouthGreat quality and very fun to use with preschoolers!
-
great material to work with!!as a spanish-speaking SLP, it was hard to find some materials suitable to address articulation and swallowing difficulties with preschool children, so this puppet will be a great contribution to the speech and swallowing therapy! it's Awesome!
-
Mouthy MouthIdeal for teaching articulation placement and keeping kids interested. Can be a little challenging to manipulate the puppet due to its small size.
-
good for priceSo far I haven't used it, but from playing around with it I see that it will be effective in teaching my students where to place their articulators, however I doubt its made with quality good enough to last past this school year. That being said, it's so well-priced, I don't mind buying another one next year.
-
pretty goodthis really has helped me demonstrate tongue placement for my /r/ kids. My only complaint is its not very durable, but considering the price, I probably should not expect too much. The white paint from the teeth flakes off quickly.
-
Articulation HelperI purchased this product because I needed a little something extra to help my student's understand tongue placement for the different phonemes. For the price it is a great buy. My only problems with it is that it is very sticky material, and seems like it won't last as long as the larger version of this product.
-
Great for articulator placement visualI use this for /k/ /g/ and /r/ sounds as they are hard to demonstrate tongue placement.
-
You must have one of these! This product is a must-have for every SLP. I buy a new one every year. There is no better tool for demonstrating correct articulatory placement. The students love it and it is so motivating for them to take turns holding it.
-
It's sticky! While I like that this is a tangible object with which to show the student where they should be placing their articulators for speech sounds, and while the students seem to enjoy playing with the puppet, I canNOT stand the sticky feeling of the materials used to make this product. The idea is great, the actual item, less so.
-
DurabilityMy students really liked the puppet! We had a great time with it and it was good for working on placement. But it didn't last very long as the plastic got stretched out and began to tear.
-
